None of the Three Counties assessments are accredited, and as such they are not a source of UCAS points. However they are very popular and encourage candidates to persevere with their studies. While UCAS points can be valuable in gaining admission to Higher Education, in some cases relevant experience can be just as important. Applicants should therefore grasp the opportunity to write about their musical experiences and assessments in the Personal Statement section of their UCAS application.
